About Me

Hey there, my name is Maryanne (named after my two grandmothers, Mary and Anne. Ya, you get it.) I have been married to the love-of-my-life, Dr. John, for 25+ years. I think he's pretty awesome. He says he thinks I am, too. He's nice. I am also Mom to five loving children who never fight. They also wash the dishes and scoop dog poop off the grass without being asked. They rub my aching feet every single night and bring me chocolate cake. They basically are perfect in every. single. way. Ahhhhhh..... *snap* Ok, back to reality here. (The chocolate cake part is true. I'm sorry.) I am a neat-freak who loves traveling, photography, digging in the dirt, cleaning house (really!), the movie Titanic (sorry, again), and butter spread on graham crackers.    This blog is my scrapbook and journal, an outlet for my photography, and a way to document our lives; the good, the bad, and sometimes the really ugly.
