Thus was the sound I heard today.

Oh! I see something, poking out from under the clothes! But I can't quite make out what it is.....

Oh, thaaat's what it is! It's John's Brand. New. Cell phone! Washed AND dried!
Whew, that's a relief. I'm so glad it wasn't something, ya know, important.

All I am thinking is-gee that's a small load of laundry! Must be nice, well except for the fact that you washed and dried a cell phone! Dang. Time to head to the Verizon kiosk at the mall.
The load was MUCH bigger! I had taken most of the laundry out of the dryer at this point when I saw the phone peeking out, then I stopped and grabbed my camera. :)
Eeek! I am secretly smiling though as it's nice to see these things happening to someone other than myself! It is usually my stuff that comes out shredded! Yep our machine actually eats our clothes, John's phone did well to come out in one piece!
