whatever works

If blowing on your hot cob of corn doesn't cool it down fast enough, just grab the nearest fan. It'll cool that baby off like a charm! Just ask Matthew, the inventor of the awesome idea.

(The fan really was on, you just can't tell because of the super fast shutter speed of my super high-tech camera.)

Yes, he actually did that! We were sitting at dinner and without saying a word he got up, went and got the fan, turned it on and stood there aiming it at his plate. We were like, "Uhhh, Matthew, what are you doing?!", and he just very calmly said, "My corn is too hot, I need to cool it off!".

Oh, I'm so glad you put the link there! Of COURSE I wouldn't mind. I figure it might make all the "crazies" a little less crazy, right? ha ha. And I CANNOT believe the adventures your family has. Just awesome. I think kids gain such a better perspective of themselves if they have a perspective of the world. And the pics are amazing! Way to go....all of you!

Me again....Lynette told the half truth...I didn't bring my "good" camera. Just our old point and shoot. It got the job done. I didn't dare travel with my other one. If i remembered it every time we changed planes, I would have left one of my children behind. It was either the camera, or them. Tough choice, but the kids won. ;o)

What a smart kid. I remember trying to cool off a burrito by putting it in the freezer, but I'd forget and my mom would find a partially eaten frozen burrito the next morning. This is a much better solution.

That is awesome! He's brilliant! I can't believe your awesome camera shutter speed snapped that fan image so fast that you can't even see the blades moving.
